The RT2561 and RT2560 chipset use a different set of driver than the RT2500 chipset, even though they both used to be packaged in the same install setup. The RT2500 based cards use the rt2500.sys drivers and the RT256x based cards use the netr6164.sys driver. I'm not sure about the 64 in the file name, it might be because I use the x64 version of Windows7 and the install only copied the 64bits files and not both, 32bits and 64bits, files. If you have any problem and want to try even older drivers for your RT256x chipset based card, I still have a few older version of their drivers install package on my had drive.
