Dao 35 Windows Download

Access 97 uses DAO 3.5 and the dll is DAO350.dll. Access 2000 uses DAO 3.6 and the dll is DAO360.dll. However, you didn't say what version of VB you are using. VB 5 goes with DAO 3.5 and VB 6 expects DAO 3.6. Just installing DAO 3.5 on the O2K machines won't make it work because that's only one of the libraries that comprise DAO. The fact is, your line Set OBe - Application.CreateObject('DAO.DBEngine.35') is trying to call Access 97 on an Access 2000 machine, which will only work if you install the Access 97 database engine on those machines. I know that Access 2000 can work with 97 backends, but I don't have a virgin Office 2000 machine to see if the earlier DAO is also installed. Even if it was for compatibility, though, the DBEngine object is always going to be Access 2000 on those machines. BTW, there was an Office 98--for the Mac! Char, Thanks for filling in the details. I should have been clearer.

I know just copying a dll doesn't cut it. I have a similar situation here with the ADO library on Win2k an Win98 PCs. The Win98 PCs get ADO 2.1 when IE 5+ is installed. Win2k PCs get ADO 2.5 installed with the OS. These are my observations, anyway. Our consultants informed me all PCs would be upgraded from Win98 to Win2k before the go-live date for my big Office app. I took them at their word, and 'upgraded' my Office app to use ADO 2.5.

Unfortunately, Win98 PCs remained and none of them could run the app -- Compile error in hidden module (ADO reference invalid). The ADO 2.5 referenced in the app was not installed on the Win98 PCs. The fix was to reference ADO 2.1 and not the new ADO 2.5. Apparently, ADO 2.5 provides the msado21.tbl for backward compatibility. Kodi po guiv. Reyes could benefit from something along this line. But now that you have clarified, it was indeed a rain coat Christopher Robin was wearing (but he also had the rain hat, too)-- See 'When We Were Very Young'. Therein lies the confusion that has existed in my brain for at least 3 years. Remember, I'm only 8 and I don't believe in Santa Claus. So, it was my improper assumption that the reference 'Mac' was to the hat, not the coat. Since English bankers all wear hats (another assumption, see 'Mary Poppins'), I took the 'banker never wears his Mac in the pouring rain' to refer to the hat, which HE was not wearing -- dumb banker. Alas, he's dumber than I thought. Looked what I learned today, Mom!
